Wednesday, on the 7th of July, Orange Sports Forum organized a meeting with 30 sports related companies at the Olympic Training Centre Papendal in Arnhem, the Netherlands. The meeting started with a Q&A session with Ms. Marianne Timmer (OLY), three-time gold medallist ice speed skating at the Winter Olympics! It was an inspiring session about her career, but also about the role of sports and vitality for a healthier lifestyle.
On behalf of the Inno4Health-project, Mr. Ad de Beer presented the project outlines, partners, use cases and many more. The presentation was a perfect match with the discussion with Marianne Timmer. Also, Mr. Gunther Vanpraet (Basketball Club Filou Oostende, Belgium) presented the concept of the BeNeLiga Basketball, a shared league between the Netherlands and Belgium. Which gave great insights in the development of basketball in the Netherlands and Belgium, and about the challenges of running a basketball club.
After the presentation there where fruitful interactions and discussions between the companies, which gave nice opportunities for follow up.
